Cell Line Description
The antibody is directed against a polymorphic determinant on bovine IgM. It reacts with serum IgM and IgM+ B cells, precipitating polypeptide chains of 80kDa and 28kDa. It does not react with bovine IgG.
Immunogen
Bovine PBMs, depleted of T lymphocytes
Application
Evaluation of bovine immunoglobulin levels and lymphocyte populations
Culture Medium
RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C. These cells may require mouse macrophage feeder cells upon resuscitation.
