General description

Quinoxyfen is a fungicide, which belongs to the family of quinolones. It finds applications in controlling powdery mildew in plants and its mode of action involves the interference with germination and/or appressorium formation.

Application

Quinoxyfen may be used as a reference standard for the determination of quinoxyfen pesticide residues in grapes by mass spectrometry coupled with gas and/or liquid chromatography.
Quinoxyfen may be used as a reference standard in the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay developed to determine quinoxyfen in water samples.
