General description

The Isopore membrane is a polycarbonate membrane that aids the analysis of airborne contaminants using optical or electron microscopy. Isopore membrane filter finds applications in chemotaxis assays, epifluorescent microscopy, and air monitoring. The precise pore diameter and a consistent pore size enable accurate size separation of samples.

Application

  • Reflective light microscopy
  • SEM analysis
  • Gravimetric analysis
  • Air monitoring
  • Asbestos monitoring
  • Microplastics analysis
  • Microplastics analysis grade water

Features and Benefits

  • Isopore membrane particle retention property on membrane allows easy counting and analysis.
  • Displays low background interference.
  • Non-hygroscopic and reduced sample analysis time.
  • Translucent material.

Caution

Possible reduction in flow rates may occur after autoclaving.

Medullary thymic epithelial cells (mTECs) play a central role in the establishment of T cell central immunological tolerance by promiscuously expressing tissue-restricted antigens (TRAs) and presenting them to developing T cells, leading to deletion of T cells responding to self-antigens.
