General description

This resin is prepared by derivatization of aminomethyl NovaGel with the modified Rink linker. NovaGel resins combine many of the excellent properties of PEG-PS-based resins with the high loading efficiency of conventional polystyrene-based supports. In a comparison with Rink amide resin, this resin was found to give superior results in the synthesis of peptides up to 17 amino acids in length [1]. The use of this support in the preparation of oligonucleotide-peptide conjugates has been described [2].
