General description

The dry dye Fast Green FCF (C.I. 42053) for microscopy Certistain®, is used for the preparation of a staining solution that can be used for modified connective tissue staining acc. to van Gieson in histological sections. Further it is applied in histology as counterstaining in e.g. trichrome staining according to Masson and additionally for histochemical staining, as well as in Cytology as counterstain instead of light green SF in Papanicolaou′s staining. As Certistain® dye it is chemically quality-certified according to highest standards and strict specifications. This product is registered as IVD and CE marked.
