General description

Metronidazole, sold under trade names such as Flagyl®, Filmet, Rozex, MetroGel®, and Anabact, is a nitroimidazole antibiotic drug used in the treatment and prevention of bacteria and protozoa infections. This Certified Spiking Solution® is suitable as starting material for calibrators, controls, or linearity standards for therapeutic drug monitoring or clinical and diagnostic testing of metronidazole in patient blood, serum, or plasma samples by LC-MS/MS, LC or GC/MS.
