General description
The first pipette with total contamination control
The Argos BioSafe pipette is a standard serological pipette with a unique barrier filter. If over-aspiration occurs with BioSafe pipettes, liquid is “locked” and unable to pass through to filter. Similar in theory to a barrier pipette tip, BioSafe pipettes provide sample integrity while promoting user safety. It also protects electronic pipettors from contamination and cross contaminating samples by over aspiration.
Ideal in applications involving any potentially hazardous or dangerous biological fluids, infectious diseases or when cross over contamination is an issue.
- Unique filter plug “locks” liquid in pipette during over-aspiration
- Available in 5, 10 & 25 mL (individually wrapped)
- Eliminate aerosol or liquid contamination
- Total contamination protection for pipettor and samples
- Use in place of filtered pipette tips
