General description

The Human Dickkopf homolog 3 (DKK3) enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay used for the quantitative measurement of human DKK-3 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, and urine. Dickkopf homolog 3 (DKK3) protein belongs to the Dkk family. The DKK3 gene acts as a tumor suppressor gene and is suppressed in several human cancers. This gene is mapped on the human chromosome at 11p15.3.

Immunogen

Recombinant Human DKK3

Application

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Please refer to the attached General ELISA KIT Procedure (sandwich, competitive & Indirect ELISA)
Human Dkk-3 ELISA Kit has been used to evaluate Dickkopf homolog 3 (DKK3) from conditioned media. It has also been used to determine DKK3 levels in urine samples.

Background and Objectives: Urinary levels of dickkopf-3 (DKK-3) are associated with poor renal survival in patients with non-dialytic chronic kidney disease. However, it remains unknown whether urinary DKK-3 levels can predict residual renal function (RRF) decline in patients undergoing peritoneal

Dkk3 has been discovered during comparison of immortalized and parental cells. Its expression has been shown to reduce colony formation and induce apoptosis of cancer cells, acting as a tumor suppressor. Herein, we demonstrate that Dkk3 overexpression or protein treatment
