Collagen Type V extracted and purified from human placenta. Antibody shows less than 0.1% reactivity with human Collagen Types I, III, and IV. AB763P also shows 0.1% reactivity with human Fibronectin and mouse Laminin by radioimmunoassay.

Human collagen type V: 100%

Human collagen type I, II, & III: <0.5%

Human collagen type IV: 20%

Human fibronectin, albumin, immunoglobulins: <0.5%.

Application

Anti-Collagen Type V Antibody detects level of Collagen Type V & has been published & validated for use in ELISA, IF, RIA.
Immunohistochemistry: 1:40 dilution for immunofluorescent staining of frozen human skin, liver and placenta tissues.

The purified antibody is supplied in a buffer containing a mixture of 0.1M Citrate, 0.1M potassium phosphate, at a pH of 7.2-7.4 and 10µl/ml of antibiotics and antimycotics.

Storage and Stability

Maintain frozen at -20°C for up to 12 months after date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
