General description

Cellvento^® Feed‑200 is a chemically defined, non‑animal origin cell culture feed designed for fed‑batch bioprocessing of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells. It is supplied as a dry powder and, upon reconstitution, provides a concentrated blend of amino acids, vitamins, salts, and trace elements that replenish nutrients consumed during extended fed‑batch cultures. Used together with Cellvento^® CHO‑200 production medium, Feed‑200 supports high‑density cell growth, extended culture duration, and improved recombinant protein / monoclonal antibody (mAb) titers in biotherapeutic development and manufacturing workflows.

Application

Cellvento^® Feed‑200 is suitable for use in fed‑batch CHO cell culture processes to enhance cell growth, viability, and recombinant protein/mAb titers, including:

• Companion feed for fed-batch CHO cell culture processes with Cellvento^® CHO-200 medium.
• Optimized for CHO-S cells (including GS expression systems); may also be suitable for other CHO cell lines.
• Supports biotherapeutic manufacturing, including recombinant protein production, across research, process development, and manufacturing scales.
• Enables feeding strategy optimization — including feed volume, frequency, and supplement levels — to enhance viable cell density, viability, and product titer throughout the fed-batch culture.
