Application
This freeze-dried mussel tissue standard reference material (SRM) is intended for use in evaluating analytical methods for the determination of selected polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) congeners, chlorinated pesticides, polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) congeners, hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD) isomers, methylmercury, inorganic mercury, and total mercury in marine bivalve mollusk tissue and similar matrices.
Features and Benefits
- Available with a certificate documenting NIST-certified mass fraction values for PAHs, PCB congeners, chlorinated pesticides, and PBDE congeners in Organics in freeze-dried mussel tissue.
- Reference values for additional PAHs, PCB congeners, PBDE congeners and HBCD isomers are presented as mass fractions.
- The NIST certificate is provided with expiration certificate, use, storage, handling, and maintenance instructions.
- The certified values show metrological traceability to the SI derived unit for mass faction (expressed as micrograms per kilogram).

Environmental pollution (Barking, Essex : 1987), 148(2), 445-458 (2007-02-10)
Relationships between biochemical and physiological biomarkers (acetylcholinesterase [AChE], catalase, and glutathione S-transferase [GST] activities, thiobarbituric acid reactive substances, glycogen, lipids and proteins) and accumulated concentrations of contaminants (polychlorinated biphenyls [PCBs], polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and metals) were examined in the keystone

Information on the occurrence of organochlorine compounds (OCs) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) in marine mammals from Korea is scarce. In this study, OCs and PBDEs were determined in the blubber of 52 finless porpoises (Neophocaena phocaenoides) from Korean coastal
