Specificity

This antibody reacts with native denatured DNA extracted from various organisms: mouse DNA, calf thymus DNA, M13 DNA, SV-40 DNA and several plasmids. It also reacts with synthetic DNA of different base compositions: poly dAT-poly dAT, poly dAT. DNA-containing structures such as chromatin in diverse tissues from several species as well as in diverse cell lines such as XLKE-A6 (Xenopus), RVF-SMC (rat kangaroo) and HeLa (human) are also recognized.

Application

Anti-DNA Antibody, clone AC-30-10 is a Mouse Monoclonal Antibody for the detection of DNA & has been validated in IF, IHC(P).
Research (cell biology, molecular biology, microbiology) since it reacts with any form of native and denatured DNA. Reliable positive control in immunofluoresence assays for detecting DNA antibodies on tissues of cultured cells, notably in the diagnosis of autoantibodies and autoimmune diseases.

Sensitive detection of mycoplasma contamination in cell cultures.
For frozen and paraffin tissue sections.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.
