General description

The Target ID Library enables bench-top transcriptome-wide human miRNA and ncRNA gene target identification. It has an innovative dual selection system, which makes rapid whole transcriptome miRNA and ncRNA gene target screens accessible to any researcher with minimal reagent, time, or capital equipment expense.

The Target ID Library is a transcriptome wide cDNA pool produced using a proprietary process. Each library is tested for gene representation to ensure robust library coverage. The library is provided in ready-to-use DNA format, with enough material for multiple genome-wide screens.

The Target ID Library is a pool of plasmids, each with a human cDNA inserted into the 3′-UTR region of a thymidine kinase-zeocin fusion protein (Tkzeo). Dual-selection allows the user to transfect cells and screen the entire library at once, selecting first for stable transformants and secondly, after introducing a miRNA or ncRNA of interest, for target cDNAs. Selected cDNAs are identified by sequencing

MicroRNAs (miRNA) are a class of small RNA molecules that regulate numerous critical cellular processes and bind to partially complementary sequences resulting in down-regulation of their target genes. Due to the incomplete homology of the miRNA to its target site

MicroRNAs are short endogenous noncoding RNAs that play pivotal roles in a diverse range of cellular processes. The miR-181 family is important in T cell development, proliferation, and activation. In this study, we have identified BRK1 as a potential target
