General description

Fenbuconazol is a triazole fungicide intended to control leaf spot, yellow and brown rust, powdery mildew and net blotch on wheat and barley. The mode of action of fenbuconazol involves inhibition of biosynthesis of sterol (a component of fungal cell membrane).

Application

Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
Fenbuconazol may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte:
  • In soil and water samples by using chiral liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry.
  • In fruits, vegetables and cereals by supercritical fluid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (SFC-MS/MS) method.
