General description

One unit of SRM 2266 contains five ampoules of 2 mL, with each consisting of about 1.2 mL ofsolution.

SRM 2266_cert

SRM 2266_SDS

Application

The SRM is intended for chromatographic instrumentation calibration, used in the determination of hopanes and steranes.

Features and Benefits

  • The certified value of the SRM was determined by calculating the mass fraction values of three hopanes and four steranes which is obtained through two methods:
  1. Gravimetric preparation of the solution.
  2. The analytical results determined using gas chromatography.
  • The certified value is metrologically traceable to the SI unit of mass fraction, expressed as micrograms per gram.
  • The NIST certificate is provided with expiration certificate, storage, handling, use,and maintenance instructions.
