General description

Sudan dyes are classified under the azo dyes group of organic compounds that are commonly utilized as additive materials for industrial and scientific applications.

Application

Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
Sudan red G may be used for the identification of sudan red G in:
  • Food samples by hydrazone linked covalent organic polymer (HL-COP) based micro-solid phase extraction (μ-SPE) combined with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with ultraviolet (UV) detection.
  • Chili powders and syrup-preserved fruits by LC coupled to electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (ESI-MS/MS) with multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode of detection.
  • Chili products by HPLC combined with gel permeation chromatography (GPC) clean-up method as well as HPLC coupled to diode array detector (DAD) with multiple wavelength detection capability.

Packaging

Bottomless glass bottle. Contents are inside inserted fused cone.
