N,O-Bis(trimethylsilyl)trifluoroacetamide with trimethylchlorosilane is a silylating reagent generally used in estrogenic steroid hormone identification and quantification.

Application

BSTFA+TMCS has been used as derivatizing reagent for GC-MS determination of natural and synthetic estrogenic steroids.
