Application

Biochem/physiol Actions

CNNM3 (cyclin M3) gene encodes an ancient conserved domain protein 3 (ACDP3). It plays an important role in the magnesium transportation. Its cystathionine β-synthase (CBS) pair domains bind to the PRL (phosphatases of regenerating liver) proteins to form heterodimer during transportation. It has been reported that CNNM3-PRL-2 complex plays a vital role in the regulation of tumor growth by controlling the intracellular magnesium transport.
