General description

Potassium p-tolyl sulfate free acid, p-Cresol sulfate is a gut microbiota-derived metabolite of aromatic amino acids, tyrosine, phenylalanine and uremic toxin. p-Cresol sulfate levels typically increase with the progression of chronic kidney disease and in patients with progressive multiple sclerosis.
We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one of the four categories of Greener Alternatives . Depleted gut microbiome α-diversity is associated with several human diseases, but the extent to which this is reflected in the host molecular phenotype is poorly understood. We attempted to predict gut microbiome α-diversity from ~1,000 blood analytes (laboratory tests, proteomics

Compounds that contribute to the somatosensory flavor profile of bovine fluid milk products were investigated. Sensory descriptive analysis defined five main attributes that consisted of "mouthcoating, astringent/drying, fatty texture, dairy mouthfeel, and tingling/irritation" sensations. Utilizing multi-dimensional LC sensory guided fractionation

The p-cresyl sulfate accumulates in kidney disease and may be involved in renal injury. α-Lipoic acid (α-LA) acts as an antioxidant in cell injury. We investigated the effects of α-LA treatment on p-cresyl sulfate-induced renal tubular injury. p-Cresyl sulfate induced
