PK150 is a potent antibiotic, which displays strong antibacterial activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) at a sub-micromolar level.[2] It elicits anti-biofilm activity and eliminates persisters.[2] PK150 also shows oral bioavailability, and in vivo efficacy in mouse model.[2]
