生化／生理作用

戊巴比妥(PB)是一种巴比妥酸盐，是γ-氨基丁酸亚型A (GABAA)受体的配体。它是一种镇静麻醉剂，主要用于啮齿动物安乐死。戊巴比妥具有催眠功能和放松肌肉的特性。它能增强氨基丁酸能活性。腹腔注射PB可导致右立反射(LORR)丧失和心跳停止。
