General description
The Zerostat 3 prevents charged particles from "flying" around during weighing or transfer, and keeps film, glass, and plasticware dust and lint-free. It incorporates the latest development with a unique ′Piezo Crystal′ device which has been proven worldwide in neutralizing static electricity found in a variety of items located in the laboratory.
This versatile instrument is portable and does not require batteries, electrical power supply or refills. Life expectancy is 50,000+ squeeze cycles (handle action).
Each Zerostat 3 comes with a test ion-indicator to confirm that the unit is working properly.
NOTE: The crystal can be affected by moisture. This is not permanent and can be reversed by drying. To get the best from the unit it should be stored in a dry environment (desiccate would be ideal or just over packed with some silica gel for 1 or 2 days). As soon as the crystal has dried the unit should work again.
