Application

Atto 647N is a superior red-emitting fluorescence dye with a strong absorption, excellent fluorescence quantum yield (65%), high photostability, excellent ozone resistance, good solubility, and very little triplet formation.

    1. This product has not been specifically validated for use with Revvity Lumina IVIS systems. However, ATTO 647N is expected to be a suitable alternative to Alexa Fluor 647, as its excitation and emission fall within the far-red spectral region, similar to Alexa 647. The spectral properties of ATTO 647N are:

      Excitation (λabs): ~644–646 nm
      Emission (λem ): ~664–669 nm
      Efficient excitation range: ~625–660 nm
      Given this spectral overlap, ATTO 647N is generally compatible with Alexa 647 filter settings; however, optimization may be required depending on the instrument configuration and application. For additional technical details, please refer to the product datasheet:

    1. This product has not been tested specifically for use with Revvity instruments. However, the Atto 647N is expected to be a suitable alternative to the Alexa 647 cited by the instrument manufacturer, as the material excitation and emission lie in the far-red region. Ex/Em maxima are approximately 646 nm / 664 nm. Optimization may be required by the end user. Please see the link below to review additional information available in the product datasheet:
