General description

Liquified Phenol is a solution of phenol containing ~10% water. It is potential as a chemical peeling agent for treating stable vitiligo and alopecia areata.

Application

Liquified Phenol has been used in a study to record the one-photon (linear) absorption (1PA) and two-photon absorption 2PA spectra of Disperse Red One (DR1). It may be used for deproteinization of cell lysate during the preparation of total nucleic acids.
