General description

Sodium hydrogen sulfate, also known as sodium bisulfate, is commonly used as a pH modifier, acidulant, and chemical reagent in various industrial and laboratory applications.

Application

Sodium hydrogen sulfate can be used as:
  • A source of sulfur in the synthesis of the Ni-doped Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) material, which find its application in solar energy conversion technologies.
  • As a pH regulator to maintain acidic conditions in various processes.
  • A acidic catalyst to facilitate the esterification process between oleyl alcohol and oleic acid.
