General description

Omegawax column test mix is used to assess the performance of an Omegawax capillary column in the analysis of fatty acid methyl esters.

Application

Omegawax column test mix has been used as an standard in studying the effect of supplementation with procyanidins obtained from Vitis vinifera seeds on certain selected markers of oxidative stress, via the analysis of fatty acid composition of phospholipids of red blood cell membrane using gas chromatography method of analysis (GC).
