ZooMAb® Recombinant Antibody Reconstitution Protocol
Ready to reconstitute your ZooMAb® recombinant antibody? Follow along with the short antibody reconstitution protocol below to see how easy it is.
How To Reconstitute ZooMAb® Recombinant Antibodies
ZooMAb® recombinant antibodies represent a new generation of monoclonal antibodies that are based on sequence-defined recombinant expression. These antibodies are specifically engineered using our proprietary recombinant antibody technologies to provide state-of-the-art consistency and application performance. They are also designed with user-friendly formulation, handling, and storage features plus validation in multiple applications.
ZooMAb® antibodies are provided as a lyophilized product. The following short protocol is recommended for antibody reconstitution.
Spin
Microfuge briefly (~5 seconds) to spin down the material to the bottom of the vial.
Add Liquid
Add 25 µL of filtered laboratory grade water or phosphate buffered saline (PBS) to vial.
Vortex
Vortex the vial for 20-30 seconds.
Wait
Wait for 5-10 minutes.
Spin
Microfuge vial briefly (~5 seconds) for complete solubilization and to spin down the liquid to the bottom of the vial.
Ready for Use
The reconstituted antibody is now ready for use. It can be stored at 2-8 ⁰C for short term or at -20 ⁰C for long-term. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
