Process intensification has become a strategic focus aimed at efficiently increasing productivity. A key example of this in upstream is utilizing perfusion within the seed train, yielding a reduction in process time and/or increase in manufacturing capacity without increasing volume capacity. With recent advances in cell retention technologies, coupled with advancements in cell line and media development, perfusion processes are becoming a more viable solution. We will present a case study utilizing our novel perfusion filter and controller along with a newly developed expansion medium, demonstrating an ideal solution to intensify upstream processing.
In this webinar, you will learn about:
- Considerations for a scalable cell retention device for perfusion applications
- A case study demonstrating capabilities of novel perfusion filter and controller for intensified upstream processing
