Biochem/physiol Actions

G6PDi-1 is a cell penetrant potent and selective nonsteroidal inhibitor of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD). G6PDi-1 strongly depletes NADPH in lymphocytes. It decreases inflammatory cytokine response in macrophages, and suppresses respiratory burst in neutrophils.
