Application

MES hemisodium salt has been used as a buffer for the resuspension of carboxylated micelles.[1][2] It has also been used as a buffer for the immobilization of antibacterial nisin peptides.

Biochem/physiol Actions

MES is one of the major Good′s buffers and is applicable in regulating the pH value in physiological experiments, reagent solutions and plant culture medium.[3]
