General description

Legionella BCYE Supplement without L-cysteine is a sterile, liquid chemical enrichment supplement designed for the presumptive identification of Legionella species. This supplement is formulated without L-cysteine and contains ACES buffer, potassium hydroxide, ferric pyrophosphate, and α-ketoglutarate, which provide essential nutrients and buffering capacity for the growth of Legionella species.

Application

Legionella BCYE Supplement without L-cysteine is used in environmental, food and beverage, and microbiological testing for the presumptive identification of Legionella species. It is particularly suitable for water quality testing and monitoring in compliance with ISO 11731:2017 standards.
