Application

Agar Mitis Salivarius jest zalecany do izolacji z mieszanych kultur paciorkowców, zwłaszcza Streptococcus mitis, Streptococcus salivarius, Enterococcus faecalis wykazujących reakcje hemolityczne α i γ na podłożu Blood Agar.

Preparation Note

Zawiesić 90 g w 1000 ml wody destylowanej. Zagotować do całkowitego rozpuszczenia pożywki. Dozować i sterylizować w autoklawie w temperaturze 121°C przez 15 minut. Schłodzić do temperatury 50-55°C i dodać 1 ml sterylnego 1% roztworu tellurytu potasu (nr kat. 17774). NIE PODGRZEWAĆ ponownie pożywki po dodaniu roztworu tellurytu.
