Application

  • Development of superhydrophobic coatings: Research conducted in 2019 utilized Poly(methyl hydrogen siloxane) for creating superhydrophobic coatings by the in situ growth of silicone nanofilaments on alkali-activated geopolymers. This application is critical for developing moisture-resistant coatings in construction and exterior surface treatments to increase longevity and resistance to environmental factors (Liu et al., 2019).
