Application

C12 Glucosyl(β) Ceramide (d18:1/12:0) or D-glucosyl-β-1,1′-N-lauroyl-D-erythro-sphingosine has been used in lipid binding assay to assess the binding of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs). It may be used as an internal standard to spike cell lysate and to quantify lipid species using fourier transform mass spectrometry (FTMS) analysis. It may also be used as an internal standard for lipid extraction in U87MG (human glioma cell line).

Lineage-based vaccine design is an attractive approach for eliciting broadly neutralizing antibodies (bNAbs) against HIV-1. However, most bNAb lineages studied to date have features indicative of unusual recombination and/or development. From an individual in the prospective RV217 cohort, we identified

Physical contact between organelles is vital to the function of eukaryotic cells. Lipid droplets (LDs) are dynamic organelles specialized in lipid storage that interact physically with mitochondria in several cell types. The mechanisms coupling these organelles are, however, poorly understood

Autophagy is considered primarily a cell survival process, although it can also lead to cell death. However, the factors that dictate the shift between these 2 opposite outcomes remain largely unknown. In this work, we used Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC, the main
