General description

Eppendorf® Conical tubes with screw caps are widely used in a range of laboratory procedures and are one of the most common vessel formats. Eppendorf Conical Tubes 50 mL is the optimal solution for cell culture and cell biology applications as well as for sample preparation protocols in microbiology and molecular biology laboratories.

Application

Eppendorf® Conical Tubes are suitable for liquid, sample, and cell handling during centrifugation, mixing, or other applications.

Features and Benefits

  • Innovative new cap design with flattened and grooved sides ensures improved ergonomic handling and stable upright positioning, with minimum contamination risk.
  • Reliable and safe labeling due to a large writing area on the tube and due to a flat and light-colored cap.
  • Precise dimensions enable maximum compatibility with centrifuge rotors, mixers, and shakers.
  • Manufactured with premium USP class 6 raw material and no use of slip agents, plasticizers, and biocides to ensure the highest sample integrity, high g-Safe® centrifugation stability, optimal sample, and pellet visibility.
  • Tested for the absence of pyrogen-, DNase-, RNase-, human and bacterial DNA.
