Aplicación

Succinicacid can be used as an organic additive in the synthesis of:
  • 2-Benzyl substituted isoquinoline N-oxides by rhodium-catalyzed reaction with aryl oximes and secondary propargyl alcohols[1].
  • Spiro-pyrimidine derivatives by cyclization reaction of 5-(2-alkohybenzylidene) barbituric acid[2].
  • Allylselenol via reduction of allyl selenocyanate using lithium aluminum hydride[3].
It can also be used as a reactant to synthesize:
  • Polyesters via catalyst-free polyesterification of glycerol and azelaic acid[4].
  • Poly(glycerol-succinic acid) biodendrimers applicable in specific medical and biotechnological uses[5].
