General description
Eppendorf® twin.tec PCR plates provide confidence in every polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay by ensuring purity, rigidity, color, and other simple, smart features making your daily workflow a lot easier. Eppendorf Twin tec PCR plates, 96 wells are suitable for high-throughput applications and automated workflows.
Features and Benefits
- The extremely thin-walled polypropylene wells ensure optimal heat transfer to the sample.
- Robust polycarbonate frames offer high rigidity.
- Raised rims enable highly effective sealing to reduce the risk of cross-contamination.
- All polymerase chain reaction (PCR) consumables are made of high-purity plastics and are ‘PCR clean’. They are batch-tested and certified to be free of a range of common PCR contaminants, including DNA, DNAse, RNAse, and PCR inhibitors.
- The plate′s edge is optimized for barcodes and automated work processes.
- Meets SBS footprint recommendations (127.76 × 85.47mm ± 0.25mm) stackable
- Eight notches in the plate skirt facilitate easy insertion and removal from the thermoblock, streamlining experimental workflows.
- The plate′s specific design enables efficient PCR, even with low sample volumes. Maximum well volume 150 µL (when using cap strips)
- Barcode functionality is available upon request for skirted and semi-skirted plates, enhancing sample identification.
