ZooMAb® Recombinant Antibody Reconstitution Protocol

Ready to reconstitute your ZooMAb® recombinant antibody? Follow along with the short antibody reconstitution protocol below to see how easy it is.

How To Reconstitute ZooMAb® Recombinant Antibodies

ZooMAb® recombinant antibodies represent a new generation of monoclonal antibodies that are based on sequence-defined recombinant expression. These antibodies are specifically engineered using our proprietary recombinant antibody technologies to provide state-of-the-art consistency and application performance. They are also designed with user-friendly formulation, handling, and storage features plus validation in multiple applications.

ZooMAb® antibodies are provided as a lyophilized product. The following short protocol is recommended for antibody reconstitution.

A single vial of ZooMAb® recombinant antibody at room temperature.

Prep

Bring the vial to room temperature.

MyFuge™ mini centrifuge with open lid that can be used to spin down ZooMAb® antibody vial.

Microfuge briefly (~5 seconds) to spin down the material to the bottom of the vial.

Gloved hand holding pipette to add purified water or PBS to antibody vial.

Add 25 µL of filtered laboratory grade water or phosphate buffered saline (PBS) to vial.

MilliSentials™ vortexer that can be used to vortex the antibody vial.

Vortex the vial for 20-30 seconds.

Stopwatch with 5 minutes on it.

          Wait for 5-10 minutes.

MyFuge™ mini centrifuge with open lid that can be used to spin down solubilized liquid in the ZooMAb® antibody vial.

Microfuge vial briefly (~5 seconds) for complete solubilization and to spin down the liquid to the bottom of the vial.

A single vial of ZooMAb® recombinant antibody that is ready to use.

The reconstituted antibody is now ready for use. It can be stored at 2-8 ⁰C for short term or at -20 ⁰C for long-term. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
