General description

Parathion-methyl is an organophosphorus insecticide and acaricide, which is widely used in controlling insect pests of agricultural crops, fruits and vegetables.

Application

Parathion-methyl may be used as a reference standard in the determination of parathion-methyl in water samples using high performance liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection (HPLC-EC).
