General description

For low vapor pressure sealing and lubrication in high vacuum applications.

Application

Apiezon® grease H is ideal for use in electronics, space industries, and lab glassware such as short path distillation systems, where heat sink media requires high adhesion. It has been used to grease glass bottles during sealing with glass stoppers.

Features and Benefits

  • It efficiently works under a broad range of temperatures and it stiffens instead of melting at higher temperatures
  • Excellent heat transfer properties
  • Reduces overheating and damaging heat-sensitive components by conducting heat away from the operation site
  • Possesses great stiction property
  • High-gettering action or absorbing efficiency of harmful grease and chemical impurities on glass and metal surfaces
  • Easy to clean as it is soluble in hydrocarbon solvents
