洋刀豆(直生刀豆)的尿素酶是一种含有840个氨基酸残基的单链六聚体,存在于植物、细菌、真菌、藻类和土壤中。它被视为是第一种含镍的酶,也是第一种结晶化酶。尿素酶以多种异构体存在,部分包括洋刀豆尿素酶(JBURE-I)、刀豆毒素(CNTX)和JBURE-IIB。JBURE-I比其他两种异构体更加丰富。尿素酶存在成熟的种子中。

應用

来自直生刀豆(洋刀豆)的尿素酶已用于:
  • 使用从左心室(LV)和室间隔组织中提取的样本测定肌酸和磷酸肌酸
  • 测定稳定尿样中尿素的浓度

生化/生理作用
