應用

生化/生理作用

二肽基肽酶IV(DPP IV)是胰高血糖素样肽(GLP-1)、胰岛素刺激激素和葡萄糖依赖性胰岛素释放肽(GIP)的调节剂。它是治疗2型糖尿病(T2DM)的重要靶点。DPP-4抑制剂可延长GLP-1和GIP活性,对于维持血糖稳态十分重要。与早前口服降糖药物相比,这类抑制剂对血糖控制的增强作用持续时间更久。DPP-4也可作为结合蛋白,及胞外因子配体。
