Heterobifunctional reagent useful for preparation of conjugates such as secondary antibodies and β-galactosidase for EIA procedures or for immobilizing enzymes on solid supports.
N-γ-maleimidobutyryloxysuccinimide ester (GMBS) is an aliphatic crosslinker for immunotoxins (IT).(1) It is used for the generation of conjugated Poly-γ-D-glutamic acid.
應用
GMBS is suitable for use:
- as a hetero-bifunctional cross-linking reagent for the immobilization of neural adhesion molecule L1 onto silicon dioxide surface
- for the crosslinking of biochips with functionalized gold nanoparticles
- for coating salinized capillary tube prior to neutravidin treatment in biosensor sandwich immunoassay

重構
Reconstitute to 10 mg/ml in tetrahydrofuran or DMSO. Add 1 ml of this stock solution dropwise, with stirring, to 10 ml of 20 mM phosphate buffer.
