General description

Tetrabutylammonium perchlorate (TBAP) is a quaternary ammonium salt, mainly used as electrolyte.
Visit our Sensor Applications portal to learn more.

Application

TBAP has been used as solvent in preparing standard stock solutions, for HPLC analysis of Sudan azo-dyes food samples. It may be used as an electrophoretic buffer to rinse the capillary for the nonaqueous capillary electrophoresis (NACE) determination of atropine, anisodamine, and scopolamine in Flos daturae plant extract.

Experimental studies have shown that the C-H oxidation of Ibuprofen and methylcyclohexane acetic acid can be carried out with high selectivities using [(terpy')Mn(OH(2))(mu-O)(2)Mn(OH(2))(terpy')](3+) as catalyst, where terpy' is a terpyridine ligand functionalized with a phenylene linker and a Kemp's triacid

Colloidal quantum wells are two-dimensional materials grown with atomically-precise thickness that dictates their electronic structure. Although intersubband absorption in epitaxial quantum wells is well-known, analogous observations in non-epitaxial two-dimensional materials are sparse. Here we show that CdSe nanoplatelet quantum wells

A novel electron rich, tetrathiafulvalene fused zinc porphyrin, (TTF)4PZn, has been newly synthesized and characterized using spectral and electrochemical methods. In spite of the presence of eight t-butyl groups, (TTF)4PZn exhibited appreciable aggregation in solution. Scanning electron microscopic (SEM) imaging
