General description

ORBO 5030 (OVS) Amberlite XAD-7 Tube contains dual-layered beds of the same selective adsorbent separated by glass wool or foam, for gas and vapor sampling. This construction of the tube allows for any sample breakthrough to be captured in the smaller backup bed.

It is commonly used for acrylamide air sampling and analysis of its levels using HPLC-MSMS and for collecting propylene glycol and glycerol from air samples for subsequent analysis by GC-MS.

Application

ORBO 5030 (OVS) Amberlite XAD-7 tube has been used as an adsorbent for the collection and analysis of air sampling of trimethylamine (TMA) and dimethylamine (DMA) in confined atmospheres to capture the volatile amines.
