General description

The innovative ReadyStream® workflow allows convenient production of up to 100 L of pre-heated, ISO 11133 compliant BPW media in less than 20 minutes. ReadyStream® Buffered Peptone Water which contains our Granucult® media is shipped as a dry media bag that has been γ-irritated. Installed at the ReadyStream® system (RDYSTRM01), the media is first reconstituted with sterile filtered water to create a 10x concentration of the BPW media. Subsequently, the media is dispensed and diluted by the ReadyStream® system to obtain the 1x or 2x concentrated media. Thanks to this the 10-fold volume of the media stock, i.e., depending on media bag size 30 L and 100 L, can be easily prepared. Once reconstituted the bag can be used for 5 days.

Application

ReadyStream® Buffered Peptone Water is used in the testing of food and water samples. This product is suitable for the preliminary non-selective enrichment of bacteria, particularly pathogenic Enterobacteriaceae such as Salmonella and Cronobacter, from food, animal feed, water, and other materials. The product is also suitable as a diluent for general use.
