General description

N-Nitrosoanabasine is a tobacco specific nitrosamine (TSNAs) and a potent carcinogenic compound, formed as a result of nitrosation of nicotine.

Application

N-Nitrosoanabasine may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in snuff samples and cigarettes using different chromatography techniques and standard for Supelco MIP SPE cartridges.
