General description

Acetonitrile is a water-soluble polar organic solvent with exceptional solubilizing power, unique chromatographic properties, and ideal spectroscopic characteristics.

Application

Acetonitrile is used as a solvent:
  • To prepare mobile phase for LC/MS analysis of bioactive components in Graviola leaf extracts.
  • In Reversed-phase HPLC.
  • A solvent in chemical synthesis
  • A solvent for sample preparation, including extraction, dilution, and dissolution of compounds prior to analysis.
