General description

Rings on lid prevent cross-contamination. All plates have a uniform footprint and a raised bead to aid stacking. Alphanumerics provide well identification. Polystyrene unless stated otherwise.

Application

["Corning"]96 Well TC-Treated Microplates have been used for:
  • short-term organoid growthassay
  • enzyme assays
  • crystal violet biofilm assay

Features and Benefits

  • Possess flat bottoms accommodating a total volume of 360 µL.
  • Suggested working volumes ranging from 75 to 200 µL.
  • Subjected to treatment to enhance cell attachment under optimal conditions.
  • Nonreversible low evaporation lids with condensation rings to reduce contamination.
  • Sterilized via gamma radiation

Pathogenic bacteria use specific host factors to modulate virulence and stress responses during infection. We found previously that the host factor bile and the bile component glyco-conjugated cholate (NaGCH, sodium glycocholate) upregulate the colonization factor CS5 in enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli
