Application

Sodium alginate can be used to prepare:
  • Cationized casein-based polyelectrolyte complex for fragrance-controlled release applications.
  • Aroma encapsulation or microcapsules for cosmetic applications.

Other Notes

A straight-chain, hydrophilic, colloidal, polyuronic acid composed of guluronic and mannuronic acid residues.
